phil turner: No faults are being indicated on the engineering notice board as far as the Wrekin is concerned, have you as yet made any local enquiries (neighbour etc) for purposes of verifying, or not as the case may be, if others are also being affected?
If your TV or box has a "manual tuning" facility then enter mux Ch26 (BBC) into the box but do NOT press search or scan, because if the signal is there its level will be shown on the indicator bar even although it might not be strong enough to resolve a picture, although if it did appear above 50% you could try a scan and then check if BBC1 can be viewed.

I live near Oswestry and have had an intermittent signal since 2100 23/09/13 I would like to know what is going on as the signal strength varies between 100% and 0%. According to your website there are no known problems or engineering problems ! So some thing is not right here

Our reception has also been very questionable since around 9 to 10 pm yesterday (23 Sept). Not only is it the freeview channels but also the DAB radio as well. Could someone please clarify what is going on? Oswestry

I live in Lower Heswall Wirral. Same thing, very low signal, some progs not available, no signal, others break up and vary, all since last night 23.9.13 at around 9.15pm. Still very low signal this morning, most show no signal.

Oswestry signal since last night appauling can't watch any program without losing picture every 5 mins driving us mad and there is no contact number for complaint
