We still can not get half of the channels we used to receive from the Waltham transmitter, including ITV programmes, channel-4 and channel-5.
We contacted the local TV ariel company again and was told that it is a widespread problem here in north nottinghamshire and that it will probably be November before we can get these channels again as the signal is not of sufficient strength as yet to reach the area.
Is this true, and if so why is it happening?

im an oap in uppingham rutland we get our signal from waltham buts its very weak barely a signal got a freeview engineer out to sort it out he struggled to find a signal even after fitting a new outdoor ariel he said the problems widespread in my town i just want to watch tv & the amount i have spent getting ready for freeview now comes to £300 for new tv & £180 for ariel engineer £480 in total the end result is ive got 14 tv & radio channels 3 shopping channels 1 gay dating site 3 adult channels cbbc cbeebies more 4 thats about it im going to refuse to pay my license if i cant receive any channels whats the point

i had all the channels than i bought a new tv with freeview built in and now i cant get mux 1 and a. i have tried the self help and a booster not sure if i pick the waltham transmitter or belmont and the aerial is on the roof please help
