Kim: Digital UK's engineering works information is showing that works are planned at Crystal Palace this week, with occasional service interruptions. That said, I (in Caversham) am not having problems right now.
Check whether analogue is clear, or at least no more snowy than usual. If it is worse than normal, check that the aerial and cables are intact and that the cables are properly connected. If you're using a distribution amplifier, check whether the power supply is working.

I have lost all ITV channels and Channel 4 today. ITV and Channel 4 were very glitchy in the morning and so I did an auto-retune on my TV and now they have gone.
I hope this is due to Crystal Palace engineering works and not some broken aerial due to people doing very loud building work on my block!?

Now they are back after another re-tune. I wish there was some kind of warning in place so I knew it would happen. I mean I MISSED This Morning because of it!

since the sudbury transmitter has switched I have had nothing but trouble so I have brought another 41 element aerial I have managed to tune it into analogue its it but fuzzy but I have not yet mounted it onto my mast I was looking for some advice at present i have a 91 element aerial pointing towards the Sudbury transmitter I was wondering if it would be better to change the position of my 91 element aerial and point towards crystal palace transmitter and then use the new 41 element and point it towards the Sudbury transmitter? if you need my post code then its ss5 4lg

Saturday 13 August 2011. Tooting Bec SW17. There does not appear to be any digital television signal at all. Analogue (Channels 1 - 5) seem to be OK. We can see Crystal Palace transmitter from our attic. External, rooftop aerial seems OK. We have been out of the country for just over 3 weeks so not up to speed with current situation. Is engineering work being carried out? If so, any idea when the signal may return?

Linda Taylor: Please see Freeview reception has changed? | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice - there no engineering work, see the top of the page, but you would not expect the whole service to be down for three weeks. I can't say more as you have not provided a full postcode.

Elliot (hockley) : You are not predicted any signal at all from Crystal Palace. Assuming that aerial is mounted on the roof, you should be able to get the public service multiplexes now, and the SDN multiplex from 27th June 2012.
I would have thought you would be better advised to use Freesat - see Compare Freeview Light and Freesat TV | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .
