Mike Dimmick: I didn't think I had changed ArqB that way, I thought I had done it via the "Switchover state 9" function which doesn't change the final levels in the database.
But it seems that is what I must have done. Just changing it now.
Sorry for any confusion.

Mike Dimmick: OK, it's 40 minutes early, but I have patched the "switchover type 9" to have the correct information and the final level for ArqB is now show above with the correct value.

Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum. I know of a Humax Freeview DVR which from time to time, doesn't record at the programed time. Anyone with similar experience? It is receiving from Sandy Heath, no mux's or ch show any pixilations, signal strength and quality looks OK. Also tend to get Oxford off the back of the beam, being in MK13. Possibly the latest retune may help, but all this missed timed recording reared its ugly head mostly after the last retune at the end of August. Humax owner suffering despair at the thought of another retune and the loss of timed recording of Dr Who!!!

Ever since the 14th of September ive lost HALF my channels and my Freeview HD channels are losing signal every few minutes there unwatchable, despite the fact they were perfectly fine for the last 6 months or so we have had them. I kept getting a message on channel 4 wich said i would loose channels on 14th september and to retune, ive retuned all 6 digital recievers in my house numerous times (including factory resets) and lost half my channels its ridiculous!
Before we were only missing Film 4, 4 Music etc and pretty much had 90% of the channels, now were missing Dave,Dave + 1, E4 +1,Sky News and many many more,we now have like 40% - 50% of the channels.
My postcode is PE38 and im on Sandy Heath Transmitter.

MickO: Hello
Can anyone help. I live in Bridgend S Wales ( Wenvoe ) and would dearly like to watch C4HD. I can't get it on my DS DHR8203. However, my son gets it on his Sony HD TV in his bedroom using only a cheap coat hanger type aerial on his windowledge.
I use a High Gain aerial and boosters ( running 3 sets ) for my TV. I've tried moving the aerial ( attic ), but to no avail.
Many thanks.

J RUTTER: Are you sure the DS DHR8203 supports DVB-T2 reception?

J RUTTER: From Welsh transmitters, you get S4C Clirlun rather than 4hd. You need to be able to get an aerial pointed at Mendip.
Ironically an indoor aerial probably will work better than a roof aerial aimed at a different transmitter, because it's usually wideband and has poor rejection of off-beam signals.
Try doing a manual scan on C58, but as I say the problem is likely to be that the aerial is rejecting this transmission.

Similar experience to Dave's posting earlier earlier. Lost a few channels like sky news and Dave which we watched quite often and we have gained Al Jazeera, 4 music, viva, sky ports 1 & 2 (scrambled). Why can't they get it right? When freeview started we got all channels and analogue. Now with every re-tune we have lost more channels and this time gained a few we'll never watch or cant wathch which are scrambled. Our postcode is NN14 2 and we have done a complete factory reset on all our tv's.

I've just retuned here in Leighton Buzzard and all of the ArgB channels seem to be listed from 800, to 825. This includes both Sky Sports 1 and 2 as well (which I watch on topuptv). I'm using an I-Can freeview box. Any ideas what may have happened to today to cause the channel numbers to all move?
