Same problem this morning - seems to be low power? Other 10 kW muxes are fine.

Also, CHs 800 - 824 have appeared in the EPG, but no names or event information.
I remember, on a couple of occasions previously, some Norwegian channels appeared in the EPG (during prolonged High Pressure) - don't know if this has anything to do with the problem at the moment?

For the second time this week BBC1 and HD suddenly drop signal to poor quality or no signal at All! No servicing being done. Started exactly 1700.

Why can't I receive freeview channel 81. When I phoned freeview they said it was because rosemarkie was not transmitting this signal . Is this correct , if so when or if is this likely to be upgraded , or is there anything I can do myself to improve this situation , best wishes for Christmas if you are working over the holiday .

Hello, My post code is KW9 6NN (Doll, near Brora). For the last 4 days, the picture on my tv keeps breaking up. My aerial is in the loft but I have had no problems in the past. I have another tv in the kitchen plugged in to a different aerial and it is also breaking up. Could this be due to atmospherics? Mollie.

mollie Miller: Most likely yes!, as many areas in the UK are presently experiencing reception problems related to high atmospheric pressure zones sweeping across the UK, channels either being completely wiped out or alternatively suffering from severe levels of glitching, tropospheric chart indications inclined to suggest that the situation is destined to last until at least next Sunday, various areas being affected at random.

The main thing to remember being *not* to be tempted into carrying out a retune, as all this will achieve is to delete the channels already stored in the tuner, numerous retunes then being required in order to recover same.

By the way, Knockmore (@ 43 miles) is indicated as being the station that provides the best signal in your area, although Rosemarkie is also a possible, albeit it that reception from the COM transmitters from the latter are predicted as being poor.

We have had very poor reception on BBC channels for the last 10 days or so . We got in our TV aerial engineer who did tests on our reception, no problems with cables etc within the house. He found the reception was low, much lower than usual and a lot of his work in the last week or so was to households experiencing the same problem. He reckoned there was some problem at the transmission site. Is this the case? Our postcode is IV2.

A Fraser: There have been no reported faults or recent engineering work at Rosemarkie. If the problem is affecting various separate households I would suggest reporting it to the BBC (see link below).
