Chris.SE: I think it might be down to Briantist mass deleting older spam posts, some pages on this site had pages and pages of spam comments, easily enough to reduce the page count once after they were deleted.

StevensOnln1: Whilst that is quite possible, I visit the Mendip page quite a lot, don't recall the page count getting to 219, but it's now history, so doesn't really matter.

Chris.SE: "I don't think anything has been deleted (unless a load of spam appeared and it was deleted pretty much immediately). I think the page number was a typo by the poster!"
I've checked in occasionally when I get these update mails and I watched the message count go down over the last few months. That post was definitely on page 220 at first.

Oh well, I missed that, obviously spam deletion as StevensOnln1 suggested. Have to watch referring to previous posts by page number. I think the "link to this comment" always works correctly but might need to double check on that!

Not sure if this is a transmission problem or a set-top box problem?
Not been able to load BBC iPlayer through my HUMAX box this morning. All other stations are coming up but not BBC

bruce: iPlayer uses your internet connection, it doesn't receive anything over the air from a transmitter. Have you tried any other apps on the box? Have you checked the network settings on your box to make sure that it is still connected to WiFi (or checked the network cable at the back hasn't come loose if the box is connected via ethernet cable). If it still isn't working, please let us know which model of Humax box you have.

Humax behaving itself! All back to normal now, assume period of hot weather to blame!
Thanks for your response, brain-fade , if I'd thought, would have recognised that the internet has nothing to do with my box.
