Moved recently to Knodishall, the house seems to have an aerial that was directed towards, I presume tacolnston, since the high winds the aerial has gone askew, is there anyway I can find the correct alignment that I need?

William: If you put your postcode into Freeview's detailed coverage checker it will give you the compass bearing of each transmitter predicted to cover your location.

It'll depend on where you are within your locale. Using the coverage checker will be the best way, also look at your neighbours aerials.
Reception from Tacolneston doesn't look the best and Sudbury may be better BUT there's a local relay at Aldeburgh but will only provide the PSB multiplexes.
How many channels did you used to get? Are the rods (or squashed Xs) on the aerial vertical or horizontal?
If you are having no luck with the checker come back here with that full postcode.

It's quite well known that HDMI can cause interference to some UHF channels but especially UHF C55 (COM7). It's best to keep aerial cables as well separated as possible from other cables such as HDMI, mains etc.

Hi I'm thinking of buying a Which recommended indoor aerial for my kitchen TV but it only has a reception range of 15 miles. Are you able to say if I would receive good reception here in Kessingland on the coast from the Tacolneston transmitter. Or will I have to look again for a different indoor aerial.

DAPHNE PRENTICE: Most indoor aerials will only work well if you are very close to the transmitter, or can see if in the distance if it broadcasts at a high power level. If you provide a full postcode we can check the predicted coverage at your location.

Just doing some random checks in the area, especially if you are close to the coast, I don't think you will stand ANY chance of getting a reliable signal from an indoor aerial, either from Tacolneston or from either relay transmitter at Lowestoft or Adelburgh.
If you are close to or west of the A12 you might stand a chance of getting a reliable signal from Tacolneston with an EXTERNAL aerial !
What sort of aerials have your neighbours got and which way are they pointing? That should give you some clues.

There was some minor changes on the SDN multiplex (nationwide) on the 21st September.
Children's channels - Ketchup moved from 211 to 209, Yaaas! from 212 to 211. Ketchup Too was added at 210.
Two other streamed channels were added - Rok at 276, UK Radio Portal at 277.
You could retune the SDN multiplex UHF C42 if you wish.
Earlier in September (8th), if you receive the Local multiplex on C32, Great! Movies Classic LCN52 and its +1 LCN63 renamed to their Xmas versions.

I live only a few miles from the Tacolneston transmitter and get excellent signal (100%/100% solid/continuous) on all broadcast channels except for the HD ones (everything on supposed C36/actually C46). This site says they are on C36 but whenever I tune any device (Freeview box, several TVs, tried them all) the HD channels come on C46 and fluctuate between 0%/0% and 30% (SQ)/40% (Strength) over a few mins and really worse than useless.
I've tried manually scanning C36 and it refuses to due to "No Signal.
Cables and ariel are all good (e.g. 100%/100% on all other channels).
This has been going on for ages 1+ years so not a temporary glitch awaiting an engineer.
