I've also got problems with my HD channels on Black Hill. I got a freeview HD tv at the start of the month and got all the HD channels straight away.

Today I noticed that my HD signals were breaking up badly so I decided to re-tune. This has left me unable to pick up any HD channels at all now :(

Today is the first day for some time that I've been able to view the Freeview HD channels with only occasional, and minimal, interference. What I've noticed in the last few days is that, when looking at the signal strength and quality via the system menu on my Freeview box, there was either no signal at all for channel 59 or, alternatively, the signal strength would be ok (around 63%) but the signal quality was fluctuating wildly between zero and 100% and all points in between. This is what seemed to be causing the picture to break up all the time.

We are on the Blackhill transmitter and getting poor signal on many channels even though we get all the freeview channels here normally (BBC still ok). Some other people in the area are experiencing the same problem. Can't seem to find any reports of engineering work so wondering if there is another problem?

Incidently, will the signal be increased from the digital switchover?

Cheers :)

I noticed as well, living 2 miles away, normally getting 100% on everything bar HD, and I mean maxed out, never moving.

But reading this there I checked, and for some reason tonight it's floating around 80% strength and there is a few channels that are distored (film four, sky three etc.)

J Alexander: I'm really confused as to what your question is. You get the Freeview channels normally, but you don't?
