Hi I live in Dromara co down my post code is BT25 2 DA I am using an indoor areal that just won't pick all my free view up, when I reset the tv iit confirms weak
I just want to walk into the likes of Argos and bye the correct areal plug it in and tune the tv with Zero hassel
Can any one out there please advise , I will struggle to listen a showroom sales man who hasn't yet shaved and just left secondary school

Gary : Most are little more than a piece of wire sticking out of an and will only give good if you are close to the . At 28km away you need a decent rooftop aerial (you may get away with one in the ) for reliable reception.

I live in the Dundrod area. The nearest for is . I am told transmits RTE 1 and 2 and TG4 on Freeview but I cannot pick the up on my TV. I have heard it is possible to get a Freeview+ settop box to connect to the TV to enable to get these . Does anyone know if this is true and if so where can i get one? Thanks

JIM MCKEOWN: Do you receive the HD on 101-105? If not, you need a box that has the logo (Freeview+ indicates a set top box with a hard drive to make/store recordings).

since the storm I have lost all transmission on my tv. I live in --Bally down area, I have a new Smart tv--since October 2017--confused Brian No at all either.

Further to that said by Amanda Hughenkis, look at the blue digitaluk trade box under your posting. That leads you to Coverage Checker - Detailed View which shows you are 7 km away from the . Please ensure that your strength is between 60% and 85%, more will cause your problems.

Please post a question, answer or commentIf you have Freeview reception problems before posting a question your must first do this Freeview reset procedure then see: Freeview reception has changed, Single frequency interference, and Freeview intermittent interference.

If you have no satellite signal, see Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'

If you have other problems, please provide a full (not partial) postcode (or preferably enter it in box at the top right) and indicate where if aerial is on the roof, in the loft or elsewhere.
