Noticed something strange on my Sony PVR as well Carl. Signal strength 100% but message saying no signal received. Only seemed to be affecting the Sony and all stations on channel 21. Other TV's/PVRs were fine.
A quick manual retune of 21 restored all channels.
Strange.
Absolutely no adverse affects due to the weather conditions, which definitely wouldn't have been the case last year.
DSO definitely was a good job. Pity it took so long to come here but it was well worth waiting for.

Hi, Got an answer apparently there was an upgrade being carried out between the 16th - 17th which caused UTV, ITV etc to drop out. It effected certain boxes and TV brands. As you say PJH a retune sorted it.

Hi PJH!
I was aware it is due to recommence broadcasting and the last date I saw for this recommencement was 9th September 2013. It was a case of the station raising the capital (cash) to pay the broadcasting fees to Arqiva. I was just wondering if they (NVTV) have raised the funds necessary.

Yep, seem to remember 9th September on the a516 website at one stage, so I wonder if the re launch has been put back ?
When I watched it over at my parents house in East Belfast it seemed like not a bad wee station with some very interesting docus. and shows, though they seemed to go round in a loop.
I'm not sure if we'll receive it here on Freeview or not, though everything is great from Divis at the moment thanks to the power increase.
Even at pre DSO levels it was mostly OK, so I would imagine NVTV should be fine. I'm not sure what their ERP will be on Freeview (4kw ?.

Hi Brian,
I'm on the Divis Mux and I'm seeing some abnormal activity in the PAT table on RF Channel 21 (PSB2 - UTV mux). The PAT seems to be refreshing constantly even though there is no apparent change in the transmitted information. (& the version numbers seem to be toggling between 01 & 0F). Any idea why this is occurring ? Thanks.

I recently bought a freeview box but it seems I need the right frequency to receive the rte channels can u help me?i live in dromore co.down the retailer said its rte compatable

liam maginess: It should be a Freeview HD box. The NI Mux is on UHF channel 39 from Black Mountain (adjacent to Divis).
If, when manual tuning, there is an option for mode - DVB-T or DVB-T2 - then the latter should be selected.
