From Wikipedia: For the indie rock band, see The Dramas. The enactment of drama in theatre, performed by actors on a stage before an audience, presupposes collaborative modes of production and a collective form of reception. The structure of dramatic texts, unlike other forms of literature, is directly influenced by this collaborative production and collective reception.2 The early modern tragedy Hamlet 1601 by Shakespeare and the classical Athenian tragedy Oedipus the King c. - en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org link icon read more about Drama on wikipedia (summary by Clipped).

Ron Kerry: That sounds like the effects of electrical interference, probably being caused by something in your home (or nearby) operating on a timer if it is happening at the same times every day.

Ron Kerry:

The Drama channel is on the SDN/COM4 multiplex. Check if any other channels on the multiplex are similarly affected eg. QVC on LCN16, 5USA on LCN21 etc - see Channel listings | Freeview

Charles Hill:

The Drama channel is on the SDN multiplex, see https://www.freeview.co.uk/corporate/platform-management/channel-listings and that is on UHF C25 from Stockland Hill. If your other missing channels are on the same multiplex then there is probably a fault which may/may not be short lived. I can't find any listing of a fault at this time, but that doesn't mean there isn't one!
If the problem persists, if you visit their website as given in the link towards the top of this page, you'll find a "Contact Us" link for UKTV at the bottom of that page where there's a phone number listed. Whether it's manned at this time of day, I don't know.

I have a problem most of the time receiving Drama. I checked tonight and the problem exists with most of the channels on the SDN/COM4 Muliplex e.g. Quest, QVC, 5USA, ITV2+1 etc. I live in Bishopston, Bristol & my local transmitter is Mendip. Any suggestions about how to get this remedied?

Barbara:

Do you have any problems with any other multiplexes, eg if your TV is full HD, can you get the COMs 7&8 multiplexes OK?
Have a look at your TV's tuning section and look for where it reports the signal strength and quality and tell us what is it for the PSB1/BBCA multiplex on UHF Ch.32 and what it is for SDN/COM4 on UHF Ch.48.
