I have just checked and see I have lost several channels, 88-96. Don't know if it's relevant that I watch via TalkTalk TV box.

Gordeen: You most likely have a Group A aerial which is no longer suitable for receiving all of the frequencies used by the Crystal Palace transmitter, following the changes which took place earlier this week. If you don't have satellite or cable you may be eligible for a free replacement wideband aerial which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

anthony fawley: Which transmitter are you using? PBS America and QVC HD are both on the COM8 multiplex which has moved to a new frequency at several transmitters over the last few weeks, so if you are using one of the affected transmitters you will need to retune.

re PBS America I have botnbFreeview & Freesat but generally watch Freeview with my strongest signal from Hannington despite Crystal Palace being nearer but also watchable . Despite claims that it is on channel 94 on Freeview but it is not available to me. why has this major change NOT been advertised nor details of why a different aerial MAY be needed? It is suggested this may be free?!!! I find that difficult to believe so perhaps that is why it is not publicised? Why is there no reference to the changes relating to my situation which surely must affect a significant number of other potential viewers on PBS website or thevFreeview web site? I am considering using either the EE tv service or that of Sky Now though My previous experience of Sky caused me to have money removed from my bank account for services they said I had ordered when in fact I had given instructions to discontinue their service. I complained to OFCOM who said Sky,s actions were so bad that were ordered to put it right within 5 days. They have taken no notice?

still no response to my question of PBS availability. This week the Radio Times says it is available on Channel 94 but is NOT., I usually watch FREEVIEW from The Hannington transmitter for my strongest signal even though I live in North London post code NW74ES. i can also receive Crystal palace. it is not on channel 94 as you say but it is nowhere to be seen You asked for this information but after several days have not responded. Does it require a new aerial but if so where from and how much? Can I get PBS ON EITHER EE TV BOX or Now tv or Now Smart stick? I look forward to a helpful prompt reply. I fo not wish to pay either for a Sky contract or Amazon?

anthony fawley: Do you have a tv with an HD tuner? It might have changed, but it was generally the case that you needed an HD tuner to pick it up.

anthony fawley: COM7 & COM8 changed frequency at Crystal Palace several weeks ago and more recently at Hannington. If you cannot restore the missing COM7 & COM8 channels by retuning then you most likely have a Group A aerial which is not designed to receive the new frequencies these muxes have moved to. If you don't have satellite or cable you may be eligible to have a replacement wideband aerial fitted free of charge, which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

anthony fawley: I have a similar problem, until 3 days ago my freeview aerial received PBS on 94 as well as several other stations 86-101. Now, I've lost those as well as other random +1 stations (like More4) and resetting didn't work, retuning didn't work, and the first-time installation function didn't work. It is incredibly annoying because I was part way thru the Vietnam War, and looking forward to Annie Oakley shown tonight. It's one of the best stations, and it's just gone POOF into thin air!
