kevin edwards: Nothing has changed at the Emley Moor transmitter, the ERP rated outputs being exactly the same as before. As you are located at approx 18 miles away from the transmitter and with a clear line-of-sight from, an aerial such as a Log36 is ample for your requirements, this type of aerial being ideal for mounting in any position, such as a roof, loft, wall mount, or alternatively on a short 90 degree arm under a gutter etc.

Mike Davison: I won't be adding an amplifier just to pick up this channel! Besides, upstairs rooms use loft aerials and, whilst I haven't tried, I imagine that it won't be receivable with them.

Hi
As I have been having reception problems with Freeview BBC channels I have tried re-tuning, as advised.
Instead of a bad signal that breaks up the re-tune has not picked up any BBC channels at all.
Your website states EMLEY MOOR transmitter - MainPossible weak signal Digital tick
Is this likely to be the cause of my problem and, if so, when will this be resolved

i'm not sure if this issue is just me or not but the past two days i've been getting random glitching just on PSB3 (main hd channels)
where it would glitch quite badly or even drop out yet for a few seconds and at the same time i would normally be recording from COM7 (other hd mux)or PSB1 (sd channels) and they wouldn't have the same issue which i do find is quite odd.
yesterday it happened between 9:40pm to 10:10pm (16/12) and to it seems to of happen just before 10pm and again around 10:30pm (17/12)
is anyone else able to confirm this please?

Adrian: I'd start with signal levels - are they bery high on the glitchy channels?
And a postcode would be helpful...
