why is it in 2011 that people are,nt informed what,s going on in the world ,we are lacking communication skills,surely the broadcasting companies know whats going on but blatantley ignore consumsers rights by not notifiying them

We completly agree with everyone. It really is terrible that there's no notification or message on the tv that there will be disruptions. I'm sure that there's many like us that were worried, thinking that there was a problem with their tv cable and signal. Oh well...

As others have said to be informed would have been a good thing! just a small notice on the screen 5 mins before would have done the trick,.. I have spent time retuning the tv and checking connections and coax thinking a problem with the New TV had arisen . Now it seems I have more time at some point having to re tune the TV . To get all my Channels that I have now lost .

I think you might find they are doing tests for the digital signal of some kind.Got a digital signal on C 47 no programmes just some power test? .Here in LS23 6RJ (Bramham near Wetherby)have got HD as normal.Just been tuning around sig on 51.I think power tests for DSO?

I have no Freeview channels between 7 and 70 and no Sky news. I have done an auto retune but there seems to be no or very low signal?
I am in Pocklington, near York YO42 2HW
