David Parker: 4seven is carried on COM6/ArqB, so it is only available from the full Freeview transmitters.

Thanks for your reply you say it is on com 6 I think I will do a manual tune and skip all the crap channels out

David Parker: It probably depends on the design of your machine. My Sony RDR-HXD870 had stored 4seven as LCN804 as there was another in 47, so I just swapped them and skipped the 804 one. I also skip the shopping channels, adult channels, data channels (UK Racing etc).

David Parker: If your receiver doesn't automatically add them, then manually tune to channel 48 and it will hopefully add this new service.

I just would like to know how many channels or stations can these muxs carry is there a limit say so many tv and so many radio channels. And I wonder when people say this transmitter is very powerfull, the power of Emley Moor when it transmitted on analog was 875kw now on digital it is 175kw to me that is a big cut in power. if we look at the maps that Brian as done it seams to cover the same area how does it do it,
ps dont go too deep into it I am only a simple guy

Hello all,
So last week I bought a cheap freesat box and hooked it into the building SAT line, and Freesat worked fine. Problem: no good channels, barely worth the trouble. More depressing to have TV with nothing worth watching than no TV at all, eh? What's with all the American shows, anyway?
I was only able to email my rental agency about the loss of Freeview signal, but never heard back; I could never reach the buidling manager or concierge...
I had to leave town for a few days and just returned a half hour ago, ran a scan again for Freeview, pessimistic as ever, and BEHOLD!
Suddenly my Freeview's back...! SO while the signal's been returned I am still in the dark as to what happened and how it was fixed. I don't know if my email actually had an effect or not-- but the signal was gone for at least 5 days...
So at least I get to watch Quest, Dave, and Yesterday again... hopefully I can depend on it...!
